"Come to the Table"

Come to the Table  by Sidewalk Prophets invites us all to come be with Christ.  I love this song and it's been playing non stop in my head today. My parents live in Southern California.  Today was the first day they've been able to enter a church building since the COVID - 19 shutdown.  What a day of rejoicing for them to gather with other believers and be strengthened together.  I can imagine their feelings as they walked into the doors and sat at the pews, heard the music, listened to the speakers, but most importantly partook of the sacrament ordinance. Though it's been hard these last few months not being able to meet and gather as church members we were prepared and blessed for this day.  Through the restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth the priesthood power was restored and through that priesthood power we were given the permission and power to have the sacrament in our homes while we were not able to meet as a ward. What has been your pivotal point in life?

Written Sunday, September 20th Come Follow Me study this week covered when Christ comes to the America's after his death.  Elder Jeffery R Holland said to the scripture 3 Nephi 11:10 , "That appearance and declaration constituted the focal point, the supreme moment, in the entire history of the Book of Mormon.  It was the manifestation and the decree that had informed and inspired every Nephite prophet. ... Do you SEE God's Goodness

I have tried to be diligent with journal writing since Oct 2007.  Pres Eyring gave a talk entitled "O Remember, Remember" and it inspired me to look for God's tender mercies every day of my life.  Some days came easy to see his hand and other days I had to really ponder and ask Heavenly Father how he blessed me that day.  As I began doing this, my attitude in life shifted.  More miracles came into my life because I was focused on the hand of God in my life.  Some of my most spiritual experiences in life have come during the times that I have been diligent with my journal writing.   I believe that our attitude in being willing to see God's hand in our lives is the key to life!  It's the key to being able to stay obedient to God even when the world around us is falling apart.  It's the key to finding peace even when there are scary things happening in the world and we don't know what's coming for us.  It's the key to feeling joy because we...
