The Gold Is Yours

The Olympics have finally begun!!  We've been waiting for them anxiously for over a year now.   I love watching the talent of all the athletes fight for their dreams!  These athletes are the BEST OF THE BEST!  There talent is amazing!  The drive and fight of each of these athletes is beyond impressive. I love learning about the sacrifices the families had to make to get their athlete to this point. I love seeing them mentally prepare themselves the moment before the competition.   I love watching the sportsmanship of athletes cheering for each other, especially when an athlete does something far beyond everyone else's capability.   I love hearing the announcers as someone breaks a world record. I love watching an athlete who has an unfortunate competition still smile and be grateful for the opportunity to be there. And most of all I absolutely LOVE watching the athletes on the podium stand get emotional as they take in the fact tha...

You Have a Purpose

I love Sunday time with the family!  Sunday's are my days to crash and today was no different.  I was exhausted from the prior week and had a major headache.  All I can do when I feel like this is watch TV.  To try and make Sunday's a little different from the rest of the week, I don't watch my normal shows.  I normally pick a church movie, a christian movie, or a Hallmark movie to watch.  After watching the new Hallmark from yesterday and the new Chosen episode, I needed something else.  As the family all gathered around we decided to watch the movie Breakthrough .  It came out a few years back, but for some reason we hadn't watched it yet.  If you haven't seen it, watch it!  It's a good one. Haha!  In Moscow there were huge army tanks and soldiers holding guns.  I'd seen this in movies, but never in real life.  I remember feeling scared and wondering if we were in danger while we traveled around.  The people we traveled with ...
